Owned and operated by the Friendship Circle, non-profit organization, Epic Kosher/Milk and Honey Catering is not only the top catering service in the area, but it proudly stands as a unique initiative designed to empower special needs adults by providing them with valuable work skills and opportunities for personal and professional growth. As part of this program, Epic Kosher is committed to fostering an inclusive work environment where individuals with diverse abilities contribute to the success of our catering services. Through our collaboration with the Friendship Circle Trainee Program, we not only deliver exceptional culinary experiences but also actively support the mission of creating meaningful opportunities for special needs adults in the community.

Brief History of Epic Kosher/Milk and Honey

Milk & Honey was established in 2000 under the leadership of Matt Prentice in the Jewish Community Center offering a full service restaurant and catering.
In 2010, Matt Prentice teamed up with Shalom Shomer as a partner to grow services to the community and turned Sourdough Bakery Kosher.
In 2012, Epic Kosher was founded at Adat Shalom to expand our menu offerings to include Meat
In 2016, in collaboration with The Friendship Circle the Soul Cafe was established.
In 2019, Friendship Circle took full control of the Catering and restaurant.
In 2020, The Friendship Circle purchased Dakota Bakery to add to their trainee program and offerings.
In 2023, Became exclusive Caterer at Beth Ahm offering Dairy or Meat Selections.
In 2023, catered over 120 events in our community and beyond!
